Like every other student, I wait for my summer vacations throughout the year. The weather turns and the schools goes into recess for over two months.
I was a girl born to parents, who had never seen a city. My father is a labourer in a small village in Uttar Pradesh called Amroha. I have grown up seeing my parents labour under the back-breaking sun in the fields to earn a living and support the family.
As the great Kapil Dev once said, “Apart from education, you need good health, and for that you need sports”.
Education is the interplay of intelligence and character. It is not restricted to homework and marks, classroom and lectures. It also builds one’s personality and changes capabilities into abilities. This is where co-curricular activities come into play.
