The World Summit on Innovation & Entrepreneurship (WSIE) was launched under the support of three UN agencies, OECD, in partnership with many multinationals such as PepsiCo, Cisco, Boeing, HP, Microsoft, CNBC and Business Week to encourage innovation fusion at work to inspire multidisciplinary ideas and empower meaningful solutions. The former recipients of this award from across various fields include Bill Gates, Desmond Tutu, Stephen Hawking, Mike Chieky etc.
